In spite of COVID, District 14 helped member Jim Moore celebrate his 100th birthday in June 2020. The first challenge was tracking him down. Jim had sold his house in Fort Erie, and because of restrictions due to the pandemic he was unable to move into his new home. A fellow member, who just happened to be the person who had bought Jim’s house, secured Jim’s permission to let us know where he was staying in the meantime. So, we were able to send him a special certificate, flowers and out best wishes for a happy 100th.
